Is there an online search tool?

No. Straight to the Points is not an award search tool. We perform ongoing searches for aspirational award space and fare deals for first and business class seats. By aspirational, I mean finding ways to book on tough routes, desired airlines / products / experiences, sparsely available redemptions (unicorns), and the highly sought-after regions/products. Keep in mind, premium members can suggest regions they would like for me to keep an eye out for award space and fare deals.

Can I try the premium membership before I sign up?

There is not a trial period for the premium membership. However, there is a monthly membership option for $9.99 as well as a sample premium award alert found here. This gives you a glimpse of what you can expect with every award alert you receive.

Do we send economy award space?

We do not search or share economy class seat availability as Straight to the Points is focused on premium class aspirational travel experiences.

Do you send award alerts/fare deals from regions other than the US/Canada?

Currently, we only focus on award travel originating from North America. We are always looking for more opportunities for growth, so please reach out to us with any suggestions for improving our services!

What exactly is the Partner Booking Program?

When booking paid hotel stays, there are tons of perks available via preferred partner booking programs. From food and beverage credits to room upgrades to complimentary breakfast, we can unlock some amazing perks for your next paid stay

Can anyone book through your partner program?

Hotel bookings are free for Straight To The Points Premium subscribers. For Economy members are the general public, there is a $25 search fee.

Will I receive hotel points for stays that you book?

Yes! As these are direct bookings, you’ll receive your elite status perks on top of the preferred booking program perks plus earn hotel points and elite night credits. Please keep in mind that the perks offered vary by property.

Can I use points to book through this program?

No. These programs are not available for stays booked with points.

Do you get lower rates than publicly available rates?

In most cases, these programs book the Best Available Rate, sometimes referred to as the Standard Rate. These programs rarely book member or non-refundable rates. The real benefit comes with the additional perks associated with the exclusive partner programs!

Award booking service
What is an Award Booking Service?

In addition to helping you find a perfect itinerary, we can assist with transferring points and booking awards as necessary, can confirm seat assignments for you (yes, even on partner carriers!). You’ll stay informed at all times throughout the process.

Is there a fee for this service?

Consulting on award bookings is billed at $200 per passenger, in addition to the airline taxes and fees.

Is payment required in advance?

We require a $25 non-refundable good faith search fee to get started. This balance will be applied to your final bill should you choose to complete a booking.

Points and Miles Coaching
What is Points and Miles Coaching?

I will customize your session based on your personal travel goals. Based on the information you provide, we will dive deeper into the pertinent sections to help you gain the best knowledge for that particular topic.

Is there a fee for this service?

For 1-on-1 points and miles consultation (on your personal travel use), the total cost is $250 per hour. And yes, you can pay with a credit card to earn some points!

Are discounts available?

Yes! STTP Premium members receive a 20% discount. The discount will apply once you complete the intake form on the Points and Miles Coaching page.

How do I get started?

Simply complete the intake form on our Points and Miles Coaching page. Upon completion of the form, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to schedule your confirmation and pay for the service.

Account Management
How can I change my password?

You can reset your password on this page. Simply enter your registered email address, and we will send you a link to reset your password.

How do I change my username?

You can change your username by logging into your account and clicking on Contact Information under the Account Management heading.

Can I change my payment method?

No problem! You can simply login to your account and click on Manage Membership under the Account Management heading. On this page, you will see an option to Upgrade Card Info. If you initially paid via Stripe, you can make changes directly from the website. PayPal subscribers will need to login to their PayPal account and change their preferred payment method.

I would like to upgrade to STTP Premium!

Great! If you are already an Economy member, you can simply login to your account and click on Manage Membership under the Account Management heading. On this page, you will see an option to Upgrade. Simply complete the checkout process via Stripe or Paypal, and you're all set!

Can I downgrade from STTP Premium to Economy?

Yes, though you will miss out on many of the great Premium-only features! Simply login to your account and click on Manage Membership under the Account Management heading. On this page, you will see an option to Cancel. This will downgrade your account from Premium to Economy.
