WHY WE LIKE IT
The Chase Sapphire Reserve® is the premium version of the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card®. It comes with a steeper annual fee at $795 but it also offers a ton of perks. As it earns Ultimate Rewards points, you can transfer to a bunch of partners including United MileagePlus and World of Hyatt.

To be eligible for the sign-up bonus, you can’t have received the bonus for the Sapphire Reserve or Sapphire Preferred in the last 48 months. Plus, you can’t currently have either card.

The Chase 5/24 rule also applies. If you’ve opened 5+ cards from any bank that show on your personal credit report, you won’t be eligible to open the card.
